4 Pack STAS Hooks with Steel Cables & Zipper Hooks - 59" White for Storage & Organization

I purchased the set of four (4) white molding hooks, 39" steel cables with loop, and zipper hooks last week. This describes my expectations and initial impressions.Why I Bought Them: I used them to replace existing tarnished metal hooks and old, unsightly nylon line for four pictures. Aesthetics aside, there were two primary reasons for this acquisition: (1) to test the item before committing to a larger purchase, and (2) determine if installation was actually as easy as the promotional material (including YouTube videos) appear.A. The Product: Since I have very little picture hanging experience, my six initial assessment criteria were simple: compact, inconspicuous components, smooth operation, lock securely, have uniform finishes and smooth edges.I was pleased to find that it met all six criteria.Notes: (1) Even though my walls are off-white, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the steel cables (although visible) are not especially noticeable. The available Perlon Cords may be even less noticeable. However, I am more than satisfied with the appearance of the steel cables. (2) Thus far, the Zipper locks securely. However, the pictures are light and do not test the full claimed weight capacity of the product.B. Ease of Installation. I approach vendor and "independent" reviews with a healthy degree of skepticism. Four criteria were used to assess installation: installation instructions, could one person install the product and successfully hang a picture without assistance, and ease of repositioning and leveling the picture once hung.- Instructions - I didn't need the installation instructions (probably because I had watched several videos) - I found "assembly" to be intuitive. The print instructions accompanying the product are simple, easy to follow, and can be read in about one minute.- One Person Installation - I hung all pictures without assistance. Less than five minutes per picture start-to-finish. The pictures were light; heavier items may require two people.- Ease of Repositioning & Leveling - I doubt that it could have been easier.C. Vendor Performance: The right product was delivered. Fast, free delivery - ordered on Thursday; delivered Saturday.Bottom line - As a novice picture hanger, I am completely satisfied and will order additional STAS products for my other pictures.PS. This is an unsolicited review. If future experience differs from my initial impressions, I will supplement this review.
