Opened the package, and everything was self-explanatory. The curtains slipped onto the hooks, and the larger ends of the hooks went right onto the curtain rod. The little chrome balls stayed right where they needed to be to make sliding back and forth as painless as possible. I really liked these little hooks as they made me smile in their simplicity and ease of use. I highly recommend them to everyone who needs shower curtains.I really like these shower curtain hooks. I would give them 5 stars exept for the fact that 2 of the little balls at the end of the hook came off when I tried to bend them open a little bit because of my thicker shower curtain rod. Evidently thay are glued on and not welded on. If you are gentle when installing them, they'll be fine though. I really like these hooks because I can replace the old inner shower curtain liner without removing the entire thing. Thanks to Tik Tok I now have so many uses for these!First, the color of the rings is perfect and matches my nickel colored curtain rod perfectly. I am getting up there in years and changing the shower curtain has become a bit of a pain, literally. I like to change my liner about once a month and I used to dread doing it because I would have to take both shower curtain and liner off the rings and then install the new liner and shower curtain in reverse and by the time I would finish my shoulders would be killing me. Enter these nifty double hook rings! I was thrilled to change the liner out for a new one yesterday because all I had to do was step into the shower, remove the liner, one grommet at a time while also installing the new one one grommet at a time, practically removing and replacing at the same time and the outside shower curtain was untouched! YAY! No shoulder pain because it took only half the time reaching over my head.The hooks fit my standard size rod perfectly and glide so smoothly along the rod with almost effort and no getting hung up in the spot where the two rod sections meet. The overall look, according to my husband, is classy, for what that’s worth! :-)I like that these shower curtain double hooks also can be used to organize my hanging clothes better. Tank tops easily hang on these & so do belt loops on jeans..
